Everyone deserves access to sexual health information that reflects their experiences.

These factsheets have been developed for LGBTQ+ women, trans, and gender diverse people, with information about sexually transmitted infections (STIs), blood borne viruses (BBVs), testing, prevention, and treatment. We recognise that people have diverse bodies, genders, sexualities, relationships, and experiences, and that mainstream sexual health resources do not always meet the needs of LGBTQ+ communities.

That’s why we use inclusive language and focus on sexual practices rather than making assumptions about bodies, identities, or partners. Our aim is to provide clear, accurate, and affirming information that supports people to make informed choices about their sexual health and wellbeing.
